The 20th Annual Meeting and the 2nd International Congress of Japan Association of Adult Orthodontics

The Japan Association of Adult Orthodontics was founded and the first Annual Meeting was held in 1993. Since then、the association has been growing year by year. In 2002, the tenth Annual Meeting as a commemorative event and the first International Congress were successfully held in Tokyo.
In 2012, the 20th Annual Meeting and the 2nd International Congress of the Japan Association of Adult Orthodontics is scheduled to take place on June 30 , July 1 and 2 in Tokyo. The main theme of the meeting will be “Reaffirm Needs for and benefits of Adult Orthodontic Treatment” Outstanding foreign speakers will be invited mainly from Asian countries and current orthodontic topics will be discussed. On the first day, the open seminar for the public will be held to enlighten orthodontic treatment. On the second and third days, scientific conferences will be held. They will be organized at two halls. Lectures will be performed with simultaneous translation for both days at the first hall.
As well as the above, at the second hall, there will be scientific programs for the co-dental section which dental hygienists, dental technicians, orthodontic treatment coordinators and lay persons can attend. These will be held on the second day and the scientific conference will be held in Japanese on the third day. Case presentations, scientific exhibits and commercial exhibits will be available on the second and third days.
After the second day’s scientific conference, the Ceremony for E-Line Beautiful Award will follow and then the Gala Dinner Party will be held.
